Hollywood Smile Dental Floss
Daily flossing is an important part of oral hygiene because it removes plaque and food debris from places a toothbrush cannot reach: in the tight spaces between teeth.
1. Prepare the floss: Tear off about 50 cm of floss and wrap the ends loosely around the middle fingers of both hands. There should be a taut section of about 2–3 cm between your fingers.
2. Insert gently: Carefully guide the floss between two teeth, avoiding jerky movements to prevent injuring the gums.
3. Clean the tooth surface: Curve the floss into a C-shape around the tooth and move it up and down with light pressure – first on one side, then on the adjacent tooth surface.
4. Use a fresh section of floss for each tooth to avoid spreading bacteria.
5. The back teeth also need care – take your time to clean them thoroughly as well.
Tip: It is best to use it in the evening before brushing your teeth, as this allows the toothpaste to penetrate the cleaned spaces afterwards.
