The Innovation

With MINTFloss dental floss, we have developed a very special soft floss: a so-called expanding dental floss. This technology makes all the difference, as the floss consists of four strands (Four Heads), each made of 400 of the finest filaments. This results in a total of over 1,600 filaments, produced in a unique manufacturing process – one of a kind worldwide.

This special manufacturing process ensures that the floss is flexible, elastic, and expanding:

• When inserted into the interdental space, it becomes thin under tension and easy to handle.
• Inside the space, it expands like a sponge and adapts to any shape – regardless of whether the interdental spaces are narrow or wide.
• Due to its soft structure, it is particularly gentle on the gums.

This makes daily dental cleaning not only more effective but also noticeably more pleasant. Studies show: This expanding floss technology removes up to 44% more plaque than conventional dental floss.

And best of all: Through a special processing method, the floss can be enriched with selected active ingredients that are specifically released during use – for noticeably more care and protection.

• Calcium Carbonate: A fine, mildly abrasive mineral that gently loosens plaque and surface stains and smooths the tooth surface – for a gentle polish and a well-cared-for mouthfeel. In combination with hydroxyapatite, it creates a synergistic effect of cleaning, polishing, and remineralizing protection.
